Christ-Centered Trauma Recovery Coaching With Wilma Kinsman

A gentle place to heal with Christ at the center

For trauma survivors who want recovery that honors both the pain they have lived through and the hope God still holds for them.

Healing from trauma can feel lonely, confusing, and exhausting.

You may love God and still feel stuck in fear, grief, shame, or survival mode.

You may know the truth in your mind, but struggle to feel safe in your body, your relationships, or your faith.

This space was created for that tender place.

Here, trauma recovery is not rushed. Your story is not minimized. Your faith is not used to silence your pain.

You are invited to heal gently, honestly, and with Christ at the center.

My story and why this work matters

A Christ-centered, trauma-sensitive approach shaped by lived experience, compassion, and hope.

I’m a Christ-Centered Trauma Coach who helps women move beyond survival and into the freedom, peace, and wholeness God created them for.

I’ve walked alongside women on their healing journeys, and I believe in combining Scripture, neuroscience, and a holistic approach to understanding trauma.

Rather than focusing on symptoms alone, I help women see their stories through a new lens so they can better understand how trauma has impacted their mind, body, and spirit.

If you’ve ever wondered, Will I ever get over this? Will I ever feel safe? Will I ever be enough? you’re not alone.

I grew up Amish with a shame-based identity and believed I was the problem and not worthy of existing on this earth.

That sense of worthlessness led me into many relationships where I was treated like an object. This led to divorce, abortions, and more shame.

I’ve walked out of my shame-based identity, and I have a deep passion to help others do the same.

My mission is to help you calm your nervous system, reconnect with your God-given identity, and discover practical, Christ-centered tools for lasting healing.

I believe your story is not your identity. Through the healing power of Jesus, you can come home to the person God created you to be.

A faith-centered approach to trauma healing

Christ-centered trauma healing holds two truths together:

What happened to you matters.

God’s presence in your healing matters too.

This approach does not bypass pain with Bible verses or force spiritual answers before your heart is ready to receive them.

Instead, it makes room for lament, grief, safety, truth, and hope.

You will be encouraged to notice what trauma has affected, including your thoughts, emotions, body, relationships, and faith.

You will also be gently invited to reconnect with the character of God: His nearness, kindness, patience, protection, and love.

The goal is not to perform healing.

The goal is to become more whole, one faithful step at a time.
